STATEMENT OF FAITH
What We Believe
Our faith is firmly rooted in the truth of God's Word. These foundational biblical convictions guide our teaching, shape our ministry, and direct everything we do as a church.
Our Foundation
At Living Word Ministries, we believe the Bible is God's inspired and authoritative Word and the foundation for our faith and daily lives. We are committed to faithfully teaching Scripture, exalting Jesus Christ, and living out the Gospel through worship, discipleship, and service.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
2 TIMOTHY 3:16–17
Our Statement of Faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
2 THIMOTHY 3:16–17
Baptism & Communion
We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, and the Lord's Supper is a sacred remembrance of His sacrifice until He returns.
ROMANS 6:4
1 CORINTHIANS 11:23–26
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering them to live a holy life, grow in spiritual maturity, and faithfully serve Christ.
ACTS 1:8
God
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, glory, and majesty.
MATTHEW 28:19
The Great Commission
We believe every believer is called to share the Gospel, make disciples, and participate in advancing God's Kingdom both locally and around the world.
ACTS 1:8
Salvation
We believe salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His death and resurrection, all who repent and believe are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God.
EPHESIANS 2:8–9
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again on the third day, and now reigns as Lord and Savior.
JOHN 3:16
1 CORINTHIANS 15:3–4
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return in glory to fulfill His promises, establish His eternal Kingdom, and make all things new.
REVELATION 22:12
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, serve others, and proclaim the Gospel to every nation.
MATTHEW 28:19–20
Living Our Faith
Our faith is more than a statement—it is the foundation of how we worship, serve, love others, and live each day. We are committed to faithfully proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and advancing God's Kingdom through the truth of God's Word and the love of Jesus Christ.
